I don't think Ireland is part of the UK, but a very good puzzle.

Both are in fact wrong.
It is the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", so only Northern Ireland should be included, not the entirety of the island of Ireland & Northern Ireland.
And Britain is part of the UK, not the other way around (the big bit without Northern Ireland).

But a very common mistake....
