Not to bad to figure out, since its a symmetrical star, but yes I do agree it is a lot easier for people whom know of the star, and it isn't very logical.

Some tips, for those who want any: Row 1 is centered (columns 8-9) Rows 5 and 16 start at the outer edges Just draw lines from there to make a star shape. Hint: it has eyes.
