It's 6 Ls pointing into the centre. 1 in top left and bottom right and 2 in bottom left and top right.

I managed to figure it out from Teesea's hint, but it still wasn't easy. For anyone who wants more hints, here goes:

The bottom half is the same as the top except mirrored.
