Very illogical. It really depends on guessing on the two 5 rows and the 3-1 row. There's multiple solutions if you don't know the Japanese Hiragana.

The 7 starts in column 6.
Both of the 5's start in column 4.
The bottom 4 starts in column 2.
Columns 1-3 in rows 1-5 are all white.
