Tricky, had to use 2-d a couple of times and an educated guess with temporaries at the end which worked out fine but very enjoyable and someone more awake than me would probably get it without the temps :) Thanks!

Try developing the left edge using 2-d, then the right edge. The rhs is a bit more abstract.

No idea what 2-d is, sorry :( I don't know if you mean 2-Dimensions, but still I don't get it, sorry.

Had to use a bonus to solve it x)

Skandie, not sure myself what 2d means; I got it after using temporaries for the five and six on the left to try and see what can and what cannot work in the next columns over. Same for the six on the right side.

What does 2D logic mean? I've solved every picross puzzle the same way, are there different kinds of logic one can apply to solving one and if so how do they differ?

2D logic means looking at the edges and deciphering where a block (the larger the easier) cannot possibly go. Basically imagine you put the 8 as far to the right corner as possible, does that create a contradiction with the row underneath. If it creates a contradiction then you know the far right square cannot be black. In this case, the 2nd row has a 2 on the right. If the 8 were on the right then that would create a block bigger than 2 and so the 8 cannot go there.

I hope that makes sense. That is what people on here call "2D logic".
