That History only knows them behind their husband or their father, or that she simply had attempted to not let them exist because they are women, a lot of them have done great things.
Since there is Women's Day next week, I propose you to continue this serie by publishing a hanjie presenting one of these women in the shadows. A history of everyone can give other names that "Marie Curie" or "Jeanne d'Arc" among the women who changed History.

On my side, I choose to represent Marie-Anne Paulze, who was Lavoisier's wife. She notably contributed to her husband's works with her illustrations (she studied art), with her translations and with her own contributions (she learned chimistry from her husband). After Lavoisier was executed, she fought at great lenght to gather and publish last memoirs of her husband.

PS : I'm very not sure of my grammar, but I didn't know if I could say "That ... or that ..., they have done great things" (in french "Que ... ou que ..., elles ont fait de grandes choses."). Should I use "Whatever ... or ..." ?
PS2 : If I used "A history of" to say "In order to", it was just to begin and end the sentence with "history".
