Had to give up. Too much guessing involved.

Phew, that was hard! It is worth keeping on trying. There are only 3 guesses: The first is easy, concerning the location of the 5 in the top row, and can be worked out by trying it in the two possible locations. The second double guess is where to put the 2 final dots, but then, snakes eyes...

Plus it is a very beautiful design. Well done.

Took a long time but it is ALMOST completely logical. The last two dots can be put in two different ways.

Cute puzzle, I found it much easier to solve once I worked out where the fours in the outside columns and rows went.

I can confirm is completely logical up to last 4 squares (2 dots). Nice one.
