I felt the same some 4 or 5 years ago when I first visited this site. Well, it used to be much easier to climb the chart. It was like a miracle when my nick showed on the first page, i.e. within top 50. There were a few players who used tricks to get higher scores, hence I decided at that time not to have as much points as possible; instead I just wanted to solve everything. And with a help of a few other fellow players, it really happened! Later there was not so much time, but I am back and last about 1200 puzzles are ahead. Crazy? Well, probably.
Anyway, my point is - keep on! Thanks to you and other active players, this site is alive and brings joy also to me. Hence your milestone is actually good news for me too :)
There are quite a lot of inactive players in top 50, hence I am looking forward to see you on the first page.
Congratulations. I am new to this site. But try to solve at least one everyday. I learned about Picross 40 years ago while on active duty at the U S Embassy in China.
Well done! I'm quite proud of my own ranking at 853 which I've steadily climbed to over the past few years, I look forward to joining you at such dizzying heights in the coming years!
Congratulations Qwer! And thank you for taking the time to make puzzles for so many of us to enjoy. I am always surprised at how few people seem to say thank you, but I really appreciate the time you and many others spend building puzzles for the rest of us to solve.
Congratulations - I enjoy climbing the ranking but my ambition was to always have a Hanjie in the top 10 list but that seems impossible because there are always trolls that give me 1 star so I have almost stopped composing because it takes much longer than solving.
It is rewarding seeing your rank go up. I'm currently at 53. working my way through them all. besides a few, i only have 25x25 puzzles with rankings of 4-5 stars to go.
