    Could be a lizard climbing out of a rock that looks like a tortoise shell. Nice logical puzzle no matter what it truly is.

    I'm curious if there's a language in which "Turtle" and "lizard" are synonyms. ie: in Spanish, both Turtle and Tortoise are "tortuga;" there is no distinction.
    Alternatively, they might have been trying to translate "reptile" and missed.
