Nice hanjie, unfortunately illogical... My original time was about 13 minutes, but got lost due to a few squares and it was easier to start from the very beginning again - then it was a quick drawing :)

    SPOILER
There´s a bird holding a letter. Black squares are in c5/r12-16, c8/r5-10, c9/r15-19, c13/r11-12, c17/r7-8, c18/r5-6, c19/r3-4,r10-11, c13/r5-7. There are still some ambiguities left, but drawing an outline of a bird and a letter should be easy from given points on :)

PS: Special request for Sparrow: You have solved following hanjie, would you (approximately) hint it?

It´s really time-consuming to guess everything and try every possibility - be assured I wouldn´t ask about logical hanjies :)

    Spoiler .............
Joe Tramp - will do them all over the next few days, but they are quite hard to describe!
The easiest one is "pritty" Assuming you have the corners and the centre square filled in, then there is a diagonal from each corner to the centre.
From top left, fill in 8 single squares then delete 4 & 5. Then add a single square diagonally either side of R5/C5, then from each of those, 2 single squares diagonally towards the centre so it looks like a 2-pronged fork. Hope that helps :)

Thank you very much for this help :) And naturally, if I had solved anything with ambiguities and haven´t added solution, feel free to ask. I recall some hanjies, but it is hardly possible to find them out without the option to order hanjies by number of successful solvers...

    Hi Joe Tramp,

I think it is really good of you to give spoilers on these types of Hanjies. Your clues have helped me a lot. It is a nice thought to think that we could all help each other to solve the more difficult Hanjies.

Could I be cheeky and ask for a few more hints - I seem to get a basic outline of part of a letter and part of a bird but connecting them together just doesn't seem to be happening for me :-(

Btw, if there is anything I can ever give a hint on, let me know (probably unlikely, as there are better solvers than me). My few Hanjies I created that were useless, I realised pretty quickly and have put solutions or hints onto these.

Ok, a few more hints, but a CORRECTION first: the c13/r5-7 is WRONG, correctly it is c23/r5-7 (sorry for this mistake).

    Make a diagonal from c16/r2 to c7/r11, then (from now on, rows go first): r6/c21-c24, r7/c19-c20, r8/c15-c18, r10/c19-c20, r11/c10-c19, r13/c11-c12, r18/c8-9, r21/c7-c10.
The "tips" of triangles creating the letter are in: r20/c6,c11 (diagonals to the edges of the letter - or nearby :) ).

And thank you, Puzzledanita, for your help, I will re-try a.s.a.p. My original "dream" was to solve all the hanjies here, but I see it is impossible for one man only... Many hanjies are pure guesses and we can just look upon them. There´s been a few new hanjies, so after solving them I will renew the list of hanjies I hadn´t solved, moreover with links :)

    Hi Joe Tramp,

    Thank you for your help.

I have given some clues on Pattern 9 (http://www.hanjie-star.com/picross/pattern-9-894.html) - I hope these help.

Unfortunately, the rest of your list I haven't solved yet, but if I do I will let you know.

I also might take you up on the offer for future help as I come across difficult and illogical Hanjies (though it might be a bit of time before that happens as I'm off on boot camp this Friday for two weeks - with no internet connection)

Thx a lot for help. Dunno how you do it Joe. But I would again stress out my dissatisfaction with puzzles as hard as this. I won't say impossible since some obviously solve them but I am sure they are impossible in paper environment.
