Great picture but not entirely sure it's logical...
I had to make a few educated guesses: the squares in the middle go in a spiral round the edge.

Yeah.. not bad but there are multiple answers for the centre bit so needs some work.

I wouldn't say terrible, it's good for your first try!
Next time, before saving and posting your puzzle you can try it out yourself using the "test hanjie" function. See if you can solve it with only the hints given and not from memory! If you are able to do it, that means the rest of us are as well :)

Starting from the second 2 in r3, move counter clockwise for two full revolutions, spiraling inward. Also there is a 3x3 square r8-10 and c11-13, and there is a 4th point added on in each cardinal direction, which links up with the spiral.

Finally sorted. Attempted 5 times.

Littlebitocd, your cell hints had already been used by me, it was just the rest of them not falling into place.

Nice result but quite a struggle, even with the hints. I echo what Deathgrips suggested! Keep puzzling and keep creating. But test, test, test. :)
